Crosswise bending glass, also known as bidirectional curved glass, is a complex glass product with a surface that features either forward or reverse curvature. This type of glass is commonly used in modern architecture, automotive design, and high-end decorative applications.
Tempered glass bending is divided into positive bending and negative bending. Our company uses the convection glass tempering furnace (Flexible Shaft), one of the most advanced furnaces in China, to process glass with an arc length range of 1200mm to 3200mm and a maximum height of 7000mm. The smallest processing size is 1200mm (arc length) x 800mm (height).
Reverse bending is applied to special glass types, such as coated glass and colored glass. Since the film surface must be on the second side of the insulated glass, and the film and enamel surfaces should not come into contact with ceramic roller heating, reverse bending is required for architectural concave glass. This ensures the glass maintains its quality, especially in curved designs.
